Bible Study: Growing in Godly Wisdom

Introduction

In a world overflowing with information, opinions, and voices competing for our attention, wisdom remains one of the most essential and yet most misunderstood virtues. Godly wisdom is not the same as intelligence, cleverness, or life experience—it is a spiritual understanding that comes from knowing God, fearing Him, and walking in His ways.

The Bible teaches that true wisdom begins with reverence for the Lord (Proverbs 9:10). It is a gift from God, yet it also grows in us as we seek Him through prayer, His Word, godly counsel, and life’s lessons. Wisdom helps us live well, make sound decisions, and respond with grace, humility, and righteousness in every circumstance.

This Bible study is designed to help you understand what godly wisdom is, where it comes from, how it grows, and what it produces in the life of a believer. Whether you’re new to studying Scripture or seeking deeper spiritual maturity, these sessions will guide you through foundational truths that will shape your character and choices for years to come.

As you begin this study, open your heart to what God wants to reveal. Ask Him for wisdom—He promises to give it generously to those who seek Him in faith (James 1:5). Let this journey transform not just your knowledge, but your way of life.
