Devotional Thought:<\/strong>
God\u2019s people have always found comfort in knowing He hears them. This verse shows a repeated pattern in Psalm 107\u2014trouble comes, they cry out, and God delivers. Notice that it does not say if they cried out but when. Crying out is not a lack of faith; it is an expression of it. It\u2019s admitting our need and acknowledging His power.

In seasons of distress, you may feel like your prayers fall on deaf ears, but God\u2019s ear is never closed to His children. Even when it feels like silence, He is working behind the scenes.
